Position Title: System Support Specialist

Location: Lewisville, TX

Department: Systems and Services

Reports To: Team Leader 

Provide system management and technical/troubleshooting support related to Emerson’s DeltaV Process Automation Systems to our customers.  In addition, this role will work with other related technologies such as Asset Management Software (AMS Device Manager), Bus-based technologies (FOUNDATION fieldbus, DeviceNet, As-I Bus), and wireless systems.

Responsibilities include evaluations and audits of control systems, system management activities, configuration assistance, troubleshooting analysis and remediation, and control performance support.

The ideal candidate will have an Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field to this position, Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) experience, strong working knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008 and Windows XP/7 and associated Windows-based networking environments.

In addition to the technical skills and experience requirements, the ideal candidate must have good interpersonal and teamwork skills, good written and verbal communication skills, customer service orientation, and demonstrates attention to detail.

The travel requirement for this position is approximately 35%, covering our region of responsibility in North and West Texas, Western Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
