This Vinson Process Controls Company course is for technicians, engineers, operators, and others responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and gathering data using ROCLINK 800 and Fisher® Flow Computers. The primary focus of this course is to provide comprehensive experience in gas production installations.

Overview: This 3-1/2 day course provides fundamental skills necessary to:

• Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot a Fisher Flow Computer for AGA measurement and control for gas production

This course provides maximum hands-on time with Fisher 809 Flow Computers and ROCLINK800Hands-On Training software.

Prerequisites: A good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and a general concept of gas measurement and production.

This Vinson Process Controls Company course is for technicians, engineers, operators and others responsible for installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and gathering data using ROCLINK 800 and Fisher Flow Computers. The primary focus of this course is to provide comprehensive experience in gas pipeline measurement installations.

Overview: This 3-1/2 day course provides fundamental skills necessary to:
• Install and correctly terminate power and grounding and signal wiring to a Fisher Flow Computer on transmission settings
• Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot a Fisher Flow Computer for AGA measurement and control of multiple meter run settings
• Install, configure, and optimize Gas Chromatograph, Run Switching, and Logic Interfaces
• Gather, analyze, and store historical data and configuration files

This course provides maximum hands-on time with Fisher 809 Flow Computers and ROCLINK800 software.

Advanced Applications and SCADA Integration, Course 2001 (PDF)

This Vinson Process Controls Company course is for technicians, engineers, operators, and others responsible for advanced control applications and SCADA communications and integration. The primary focus of this course is to provide comprehensive experience in advanced control for multiple applications and integration into SCADA.

Overview: This 3-1/2 day course provides fundamental skills necessary to:
• Configure advanced PID control for both analog and discrete control applications
• Build specialized logic control using Function Sequence Tables (FST)
• Understand communication signals, ROC, and Modbus Protocols
• Using ROC or Modbus efficiently in a communication system and SCADA
• Advanced programming skills using DS800 or Cause and Effect

This course provides maximum hands-on time with Fisher 809 Flow Computers and ROCLINK800 software.

Prerequisites
: Courses 1001 or 1002, basic understanding of control and operational standards.

Times
: All classes will start at 1:00 PM Mondays and finish 4:00 PM on Thursdays.

Meals: Lunches will be provided Tuesday through Thursday.

Upgrades to ROCLINK800 will be available to licensed users if required. Laptop and LOI cable to be furnished by each student.

Registration Deadline/Payment Information: 2 weeks prior to course start date. Purchase order/payment is required at time of enrollment, credit cards accepted.

Cancellations: You may cancel your reservation up to 14 days prior to the start of the course without incurring a cancellation charge. Limited enrollment makes it necessary to charge 50% of the full tuition for cancellations received during the 14 days prior to start of the course and full tuition for failure to attend without canceling. Substitutions are accepted until the first day of class. Vinson Process Controls Company, LP reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to insufficient students with a full refund to registered students. Any necessary cancellations will be announced a minimum of 72 hours prior to the start of class.
