Asset Optimization is a series of innovative technologies and services designed to increase the performance and uptime of process equipment including mechanical equipment, electrical systems, process equipment, instruments, and valves through predictive maintenance. Tested and proven in the pharmaceutical, chemical, oil and gas, pulp and paper, power, water and wastewater industries, asset optimization can deliver bottom line results from your process.
Capitalize on Your Equipment's True Potential AMS™ Suite is a family of related products that allow you to optimize the performance and availability of your production assets through predictive maintenance. |

Providing Predictive and Proactive Maintenance Using Intelligent Field Devices, AMS Device Manager The first component in the AMS Suite of tools is the AMS Device Manager. The Device Manager is a software package designed to improve uptime and cut maintenance costs by utilizing intelligent field devices to optimize instrument and valve performance. Through the Device Manager program, these devices can provide early detection of potential failures, diagnose advanced problems, streamline calibration activities, configure devices, and automatically document changes. Gone are the days of unnecessarily pulling a valve out of line for routine maintenance only to find no problem. There is Never a Good Time for Downtime
Machinery Health™ Management is simply a
matter of maintaining and monitoring your critical rotating equipment in
the best possible condition at the best possible cost. By combining
predictive maintenance with excellent analysis, we can easily and
accurately assess the health of the machinery in your facility. Through
automated diagnostics, plotting, and reporting, you determine the
exact status of your machinery’s condition and take the necessary
steps to improve business performance. One key product available in this area is the
CSI 9210 Machinery Health Transmitter. Designed to monitor
pump-motor trains, this device can detect early problems such as worn
bearings, overloaded motors, overheating, and pump cavitation. Measurements
are made on vibration, motor flux, temperature, and speed which allow the
device to deliver predictive results via
PlantWeb alerts, not just raw data. Contained in a four-wire,
field mountable package, each 9210 monitors a single machine train
consisting of an AC induction motor coupled to one centrifugal pump. When more power is needed than the CSI 9210 has
available, move up to the
CSI 4500 Machinery Health Monitor. Designed to handle
larger motors and pumps, gas and
steam turbines, and other rotating equipment,
the 4500 handles more variables to increase the predictive
capabilities for your process. Providing transient analysis for turbines
and unique fault detection for bearings, the 4500 is ideal for those
production machines that can bring your process to a halt. The 4500 also
provides graphical displays of vibration frequencies to aid your
operators in analyzing the data provided.
