RTUs are lightweight and easy to install, provide multiple outputs, and are easier to maintain than alternative solutions. Gone are the days of having to send a crew to "check on" well conditions or to pick up paper charts to be carried back to the accounting department. RTUs can perform many of the functions a crew could provide from the convenience of your operations center and without sending a truck. When it is necessary to send a truck, the crew knows what the problem is before they leave the center and has the parts to repair the problem already on the truck when they arrive.
