Education, Skills and/or Experience:
· Bachelors or Associates Degree in Relevant Technical Degree
· Minimum of five years of relevant experience in project engineering role
· Good understanding/working knowledge of various industrial network protocols, including but not limited to: Modbus, Ethernet IP, Devicenet,
Profi-bus, OPC
· Proficiency in low-voltage A/C (480V and below), D/C power, and
grounding
· Experienced with DCS and/or PLC control systems, as well as HMIs/PC Networking requirements
· Competency in motor controls, MCCs, VFDs, and process instrumentation
· Experience with design and reading/interpretation/redlining of
engineering design documents such as P&IDs,
Electrical One Lines, Plot Plans.
Some AutoCAD Electrical experience would be beneficial
Physical and Mental:
· Ability to function in a high stress environment during outages, cutovers,
and start-ups
· Highly motivated, self-starter who can be effective in a team or a solo assignment
· Must have the ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
· Ability to provide clear and timely written documentation such as project updates
Able to travel via airplane or long (4-6 hour) car trips to/from customer sites for short visits and/or extended stay visits of a week or longer. Overnight travel is anticipated at an average of 30-40%
