Education, Skills and/or Experience:
- A Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical, Petroleum, or Industrial Distribution) from an accredited university is strongly preferred.
- Relevant technical and/or sales experience with engineered products in the industrial process control or oil and gas industry or equivalent engineering or operations experience in these sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships across the inside sales team, sales administration, account management, customers, and suppliers.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and fostering team collaboration.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly and resolve issues independently.
- Strong team orientation, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional groups and contribute to shared goals.
- Advanced computer proficiency, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new software tools and support team members in their adoption and use.
Physical and Mental:
- Shall be able to lift and carry weight of at least twenty-five pounds (Primarily demo equipment and customer equipment)
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in English.
- Ability to operate office machinery (telephone, copier, fax, PC)
- Ability to comprehend complex information, perform math calculations, logical reasoning, and manage ambiguous situations.
- Overnight travel may be occasionally required for training purposes, customer events, and organizational meetings.
- Must be able to walk through plant sites, including climbing ladders and maintaining safety awareness.
