The local safety network (LSN) is the communication backbone of the DeltaV SIS process safety system.
The global safety network (GSN) enables safety-rated communication among LSN’s while allowing functional segregation on different LSN’s. The GSN can be logically separated in domains which are a group of LSN’s.
